The Dossier UE is a publication of an operational nature, which elaborates on subjects of substantive interest for Southern Italy, linked to development and planning abilities: system of public incentives (regional, national and community), POR, integrated land projects, public works and infrastructures are only some of the subjects tackle by the journal. The maze of development and incentive tools available for investments for production and infrastructures and the need to coordinate the various levels of planning (European Commission, Ministries, Regions) create for public and private economic operators many problems traceable to ..for the most part -. sources – available and to various operating conditions, depending on the sectors of intervention and the administrations involved. SRM- Associazione Studi e Ricerche per il Mezzogiorno - in line with the community agenda and for the benefit of public and private operators - has been capturing, through its previous organizational configuration as Ufficio Studi Banco di Napoli, these needs, proposing this journal of updates and elaboration of the problems connected to the utilization of the resources – community or other – designated for regional policies, development policies of the region and specific business sectors.
The Dossier UE, started in 1993 as an internal vehicle of information and corporate self-education, has met over time broad consensus among public and private operators, transforming itself in 1999 into a journal printed every two months.
The demand of public entities, companies and trade associations involved in investment programs can count on:
1. a greater circulation and accessibility to information relative to the utilization of the financing and development tools of the region;
2. innovative information able to give them specific answers and solutions which are truly substantive and operational.
The publication carries, always from the point of view of regional development, articles and stories also on economic and credit themes (i.e. the European economic situation, comments on the DPEF (Economic and Financial Planning document) and on financial law, etc.) and sectorial themes.
The Dossier, besides elaborating on the SRM Studi e Ricerche per il Mezzogiorno, often carries articles written by expert technical representatives of the European Commission or public entities and trade associations (in particular the Ministry of Economy and Finance, Association of Italian Industries, etc.)
In summary, with the EU Dossier, the SRM-Associazione Studi e Ricerche per il Mezzogiorno offers an additional contribution to public and private operators of Southern Italy, confirming the attention that it has always reserved for the growth of the region it serves.
